iPhone 6 vs iPhone 6s Comparison

Apple stopped selling the iPhone 6 and 6s a few years ago. Now you might be thinking about buying one of these phones, or someone in your family is passing their old phone to you. If so, you will want to know how these two phones compare with each other. You might also want to know if it is a good idea to buy an iPhone 6 or 6s, or if it would be better for you to have an iPhone or another phone right now. What are the differences between the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6s? The two phones are very similar. We will tell you all about them.

How do the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6 differ?

You might not think that there is a difference between the two phones, but when Apple introduced the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in September 2015 they had some big changes. Here are some of them:

The iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus battery capacity is much less compared to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, so the battery life will be shorter at the same time. Rhe iPhone 6S Plus and 6 Plus, iPhone 6S  and 6 can share the same battery. They share the same features including the same size body and connectors.

In order to tell which device you have, there are a few ways. One way is to press on an icon and see if the other menu appears. Another way is to open the camera and see if Live Photos is an option. The most obvious way to tell which device you have is by looking for it in Settings > General > About or checking the Model Name or Model Number. If it’s not listed there, then find the number that starts with A and tap on it for a code key.

Which iPhone 6s or 6 cost more?

If you are thinking about buying an iPhone 6 or 6s, you might have to buy a used phone. You can get a 32GB iPhone 6s at CeX for £130. Or, on eBay, a 128GB iPhone 6s is about £159.99 new and £99 used. On Amazon, the price of a renewed iPhone 6s is £102.95 right now. You can get a new iPhone 6s or 6s Plus. Look at Littlewoods where the price for 128 GB is £479.99, or Argos where it is £299 for 32GB. 

If you can’t find an iPhone 6 or 6s for less than the iPhone 8 right now, buy the iPhone 8. The iPhone 8 was released in 2017 and is three years newer than the iPhone 6s.

Compare the design of the iPhone 6s to that of the iPhone 6?

At first, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s might look like the same phone. But they are different. The iPhone 6s has a new color called Rose Gold that is not available on the other models. Otherwise they all come in silver, gold & space grey. Apple has improved the iPhone 6s by making it out of a more durable metal called Series 7000 Aluminium. This is to prevent the Bendgate problem. Apple had this problem before with some people’s iPhones, but not many people were affected.

The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6s are nearly the same. The only difference is that the width, height, depth, and weight are a little bigger for the 6s.

There are some differences in the size of the iPhone 6 and 6s, and between the 6 Plus and 6s Plus. The screen is bigger on the iPhone 6s Plus. If you have a 4.7-inch screen, then it may be worth considering if you want to move to a 5.5-inch screen. The bigger phone is heavier and it’s hard to hold because you have small hands. But you can reach the whole screen with a single thumb. One good thing about the phone is that there is more space on the screen so that lots of things can fit.

The iPhone 6s has something new called 3D Touch. With 3D Touch, the phone can tell how hard you are pressing it. With this new ability, there are many new ways to use your iPhone and interact with it. When you press hard, the phone will give a little buzz (a gentle tap).

3D touch is useful. It does many things, but it will give you more options to do different things. If you hard press on an app, it will show more options for that app. Sometimes 3D Touch can be just as useful as the actual thing. For example, if the iPhone XR came out, Apple was able to make a hard press effect because of 3D Touch.

Comparing the cameras of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s, what’s different?

Apple improved the camera in the iPhone 6s. The iPhone 6 has an 8Mp rear-facing camera and the iPhone 6s has a 12Mp rear-facing camera. It can also record 4K video on the iPhone 6s. The front-facing camera also got some improvements such as being able to capture 5Mp photos and having a display that flashes for selfies.

Some of the tech in the camera was improved and new software features were added. For example, Live Photos came with your phone when you got it. With Live Photos turned on your phone takes short videos instead of still photos. You can get cool effects and it’s a good way to get photos of kids who are always moving anyway. Later versions of the iOS software made it possible to make GIFs from Live Photos. Live Photos are fun so they might be a reason for you to get your 6s over your 6!

The iPhone 6s is a good phone, but it is different from the 6. The 8s has 3D Touch, Live Photos, more RAM and a faster processor. If you are deciding between the 6 and the 8s right now, we think that you should choose the 6s.
